Fagne is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from sub district headquarter and 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 2242 houses and a population of 10217 of which 5323 are males while 4894 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 997 people are from Schedule Caste and 838 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
