The Embassy of India in Sofia is a diplomatic mission of the Republic of India to Bulgaria.[1]

Ambassador is in charge of the embassy. Sanjay Rana is the current Ambassador of India to Bulgaria.[2][3]
History[edit | edit source]
India's diplomatic representatives to Bulgaria resided in Belgrade and Bucharest from July 1955 until April 1970. India opened its embassy in Sofia in May 1970.[4]

Embassy serves Bulgaria and North Macedonia region.[5][6]
Education[edit | edit source]
Scholarships are offered by the embassy to local nationals to study in India.[7]
