Vinay Bharadwaj K is an Indian academic and researcher in Information Science and Engineering. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering at JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU), Mysuru, Karnataka, India, and is pursuing doctoral research at the same institution.[1]

Bharadwaj is pursuing a PhD in Information Science and Engineering at JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, which he began in 2025. He completed an M.Tech in Information Science and Engineering (Data Sciences) at the same university during 2017–2019.
He completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering at Government Engineering College, K. R. Pet, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, during 2014–2017. He also completed a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering at Government Polytechnic, K. R. Pet, under the Department of Technical Education, Bengaluru, during 2011–2014.

Bharadwaj joined JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering on 8 November 2023.[1]
Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Information Science and Engineering at The National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru, from 15 June 2022 to October 2023.
Before entering academia, he worked as a Python Developer at HapiLipi Tech Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, from July 2019 to January 2022.
Research interests[edit source]
Bharadwaj's research interests include data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational modelling and the application of data-driven methods to environmental and climate-related problems.
His interests in artificial intelligence include machine learning, predictive analytics and computational modelling. His environmental research interests include climate data analysis, meteorology, urban air quality and PM2.5 analysis. His broader data science interests include statistical modelling and data-driven analysis for environmental applications.[2]
