Suhail Shaji (born 3 October 2000) is an Indian Film director and Screenwriter. who works in Malayalam cinema known mainly for commercial comedy entertainers. He made his directorial debut through Ariyathe shortfilm in 2018.Ariyathe was produced by Shaji and released on 13 April 2019 in the banner of Magic Reels Media.[1]
Early and personal lifeEdit
Suhail Shaji was born in Alappuzha, Kerala, to Shaji Mustafa and Raseena Shaji. He attended schools including Leo XIII Higher Secondary School Alappuzha.later moved to Kochi and earned a degree in Business Management from Cochin University of Science and Technology. He then started an online media called Magic Reels Media which made him to win few awards for the best online marketing for the movies Bangalore Days, Aadu (film), Charlie (2015 Malayalam film), Kuttanadan Marpappa etc. Then he changed his company name Magic Reels Media into Mollywood Mad, that made them to be notable on malayalam film industry. later they marketed several hit movies and received best promoters awards for Fahadh Faasil starrer Varathan, Njan Prakashan and Kumbalangi Nights. He also won award for Joju George's Joseph (2018 film) and Mammootty's Unda (film).[2]
From 2021, he started a relationship with Navya, An Engineering student who is settled in Kochi.[3]
He has also been involved in several social service activities. In addition, he is the founder and CEO of two online movie news publishing companies called Oolas Media and Mollywood Mad Pvt Ltd.[4]

After graduating, Suhail started making short films and music videos. Ariyathe and Love Tickets were his earliest works.
Suhail made his entry into malayalam films by directing the upcoming movie called Oru Typical Kamukan starring Ijaaz Ebrahim and Malavika in lead roles. The movie will be start filming in next January.[5]
Suhail also worked as an assistant director in Pareeth Pandari, which made him to open a way into the well known director Vinod Guruvayoor. later suhail assisted Vinod Guruvayoor in his movie Sakalakalashala. suhail is also the assistant director of the upcoming malayalam movie called Central Station which is a Police story.[6]
