Dave Sidhu (born 2 November 1986) is an Indian-born Australian Film director, Actor, Casting director and Producer. who works in punjabi and hindi films. after working as a casting director in several films, Sidhu made his feature film debut in a supporting, self-casted role with 2018 film Pareshaan Parinda.
Along with directing and producing several music videos. Sidhu ventured in film direction in the year 2020 with The Oneness (a short documentary film on Indo-Australian people)[2]
Early life[edit]
After the death of his mother at the age of 1, Sidhu lives with his uncle who is a community singer due to which he was surrounded by the atmosphere of art. he used to perform mimicry in Mahashakti Kala Natya Mela. During the time of theatre, he worked as an assistant director in many Punjabi telefilms and also played small roles.
Career[edit]
Sidhu went to Sydney in search of work after graduating from S.D. collage, Barnala. After working for couple of years in various jobs he established their mixed activity controlled business.[3] Sidhu runs a TV and Radio channel named - Raabta, he is 50% partner in it along Robbie Benipal
