Darana is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 18 kilometres (11 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 329 houses and a population of 1568 of which 814 are males while 754 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 76 people are from Schedule Caste and 283 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
