Council of Baptist Churches in Northern India is a major Christian denomination of India. It belongs to the Baptist World Alliance.[1] It is not affiliated with the World Council of Churches, however.[1] The Council of Baptist Churches in Northern India belongs to the National Council of Churches in India.[2] Furthermore, it is a member of the Asia Pacific Baptist Federation.[3] The Council of Baptist Churches in Northeast India is another denomination.
