Chitode is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 43 kilometres (27 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 403 houses and a population of 1626 of which 866 are males while 760 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 54 people are from Schedule Caste and 79 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
