Chimthane is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 28 kilometres (17 mi) from sub district headquarter and 58 kilometres (36 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 888 houses and a population of 4197 of which 2151 are males while 2046 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 237 people are from Schedule Caste and 491 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
