Chikase

Chikase is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 80 kilometres (50 mi) from sub district headquarter and 80 kilometres (50 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 445 houses and a population of 2156 of which 1087 are males while 1069 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 345 people are from Schedule Caste and 433 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
