Chhail is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 87 kilometres (54 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 612 houses and a population of 2676 of which 1364 are males while 1312 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 246 people are from Schedule Caste and 447 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
