Chaugaon is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 20 kilometres (12 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 880 houses and a population of 4639 of which 2390 are males while 2249 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 185 people are from Schedule Caste and 988 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
