Charthane
Charthane is a village in Muktainagar in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 30 kilometres (19 mi) from sub district headquarter and 90 kilometres (56 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 565 houses and a population of 2385 of which 1244 are males while 1141 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 230 people are from Schedule Caste and 1005 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
