Chakadu is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 95 kilometres (59 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 558 houses and a population of 3261 of which 1620 are males while 1641 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 45 people are from Schedule Caste and 3187 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
