Borkund is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 28 kilometres (17 mi) from sub district headquarter and 28 kilometres (17 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 787 houses and a population of 3615 of which 1831 are males while 1784 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 140 people are from Schedule Caste and 118 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
