Boris is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 35 kilometres (22 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 1146 houses and a population of 5243 of which 2777 are males while 2466 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 352 people are from Schedule Caste and 1398 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
