The WikiProject Indian television is a working group of members dedicated to ensuring that all Indian television related articles are of high quality and accuracy.

Our Goal[edit source]
To achieve consistency, quality and accuracy in all Indian television related articles; to create comprehensive pages about these articles; to raise all such pages to Good Article classification while promoting work on already good pages to help them reach Featured Status.
Guidelines[edit source]
Besides the usual policies and guidelines, please make sure you are aware of the specific guidelines related to television-related articles. Also ensure that you are familiar with the following topics:

- Simplified ruleset: 16 rules of thumb to help you avoid problems.
- List of policies: A comprehensive list of the 42 official policies with very quick summaries.

Place an infobox (filled in with its appropriate information) at the top of an article's page to display and present summary information about an article's subject. Infoboxes you can use are:

Note: Most TV-related images are copyrighted, and are required to follow the non-free content guidelines and policy, or they will be deleted.

Everything needs to be verifiable through "official" sources (for instance press releases), and rumours should be immediately removed from articles. If you find such an article please tag them with one of the following templates. Please contribute to the current discussion on these templates.

The TV Star is awarded to those who make outstanding contributions to television related articles. The barnstar is used for WikiProject Television, and all descendant WikiProjects, including WikiProject Indian television. Don't hesitate to award someone, just place the image on their talk page, and say why you've given it.
