Bhalod is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from sub district headquarter and 42 kilometres (26 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 1937 houses and a population of 7426 of which 3753 are males while 3673 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 929 people are from Schedule Caste and 762 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
