Bflix Movies is a free to air (FTA) Hindi movies channel launched on 25 May 2016 by Indirect Media, promoted by Mr Ashish Choudhary, Mr Harish Kotak & Mr. Vishal Gurnani. The company is headquartered in Mumbai. The channel broadcasts classic and contemporary movies of Bollywood as well as the Southern India regional movies dubbed in Hindi.
The channel is currently available on Tata sky DTH platform and key multi-system operators (MSO's) like incable, Den, Fastway, GTPL, 7 Star, Hathway and on other independent cable operators across the key market of the Hindi speaking belts. Bflix movies channel also won the MPEG-2 slot on DD Free dish, it will be available from 1 April 2021.[1]
Bflix[2] frequency configuration is as follows satellite insat 4A, 83 degrees east, uplink frequency 6358 MHz, downlink frequency 4133 MHz, symbol rate 11.888 msps, modem standard DVBS2, Mpeg4.
The channel airs movies across genres such as romance, action, thriller, horror, comedy etc. Making the channel interactive with its viewers, it airs tweets for latest blockbuster movie releases & also showcases selfies from its loyal viewers. The channel's look embodies "fun & happiness" symbolizing progressiveness.
