Betawad is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 23 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 33 kilometres (21 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 1618 houses and a population of 7692 of which 3918 are males while 3774 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 803 people are from Schedule Caste and 1041 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
