Basar is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 90 kilometres (56 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 176 houses and a population of 886 of which 445 are males while 441 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 454 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
