Balhane

Balhane is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 74 kilometres (46 mi) from sub district headquarter and 80 kilometres (50 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 476 houses and a population of 2180 of which 1146 are males while 1034 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 69 people are from Schedule Caste and 694 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
