Babhalaj

Babhalaj is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 22 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 77 kilometres (48 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 730 houses and a population of 3442 of which 1762 are males while 1680 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 202 people are from Schedule Caste and 588 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
