Ashte is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 707 houses and a population of 3546 of which 1823 are males while 1723 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 262 people are from Schedule Caste and 1162 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
