Ashtane is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from sub district headquarter and 59 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 419 houses and a population of 1948 of which 979 are males while 969 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 67 people are from Schedule Caste and 746 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
