She has since starred in Helen (2019) and Kappela (2020). She has won Kerala State Film Award – Special Mention for Helen in 2020.[4]

Early life[edit]

Ben is the daughter of screenwriter Benny P. Nayarambalam[2] and Fulja. She is a fashion and apparel design graduate from St. Teresa's College, Kochi.[5]

Career[edit]

About Bens' performance in her debut film Kumbalangi Nights, The Hindu wrote, "She stood out even in the presence of seasoned performers". She was chosen to play Babymol via an audition for Kumbalangi Nights.[2][6] The success of that film paved the way for Helen, a survival drama starring Ben, and Kappela, both winning the audience and critics.[7][3] Director Sathyan Anthikad praised her acting in the former,[8] and Manorama Online reported, "Anna Ben makes Kappela a delightful journey" about the latter.[3] Ben has also appeared in music videos.[9]
