Anis Ahmad Khan (born 17 July 1966, Hindi: अनीस अहमद खां) also known as 'Phoolbabu' is an Indian politician.[1] He was the member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.[2][3][4]

Political career[edit]

Anis first got elected as MLA from the Bahujan Samaj Party in the mid-term elections of 1990, then for the second time in February 2002, and for the third time in 2007. Later, he was the Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Agro Industrial Corporation, Lucknow, and later, from May 3, 2002, to February 4, 2003, he was the Minister of State for Agricultural Education and Agricultural Research Department in the cabinet of the then Chief Minister Mayawati.[5]
