Anakwadi is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 21 kilometres (13 mi) from sub district headquarter and 21 kilometres (13 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 368 houses and a population of 1732 of which 890 are males while 842 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 88 people are from Schedule Caste and 451 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
