Amode is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from sub district headquarter and 55 kilometres (34 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 610 houses and a population of 2999 of which 1557 are males while 1442 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 250 people are from Schedule Caste and 936 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
