Ambode is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 20 kilometres (12 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 541 houses and a population of 2897 of which 1512 are males while 1385 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 235 people are from Schedule Caste and 268 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
