Ambe is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 40 kilometres (25 mi) from sub district headquarter and 100 kilometres (62 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 460 houses and a population of 2665 of which 1366 are males while 1299 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 3 people are from Schedule Caste and 2229 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
