Alwan is a village in Talode in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 19 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 58 kilometres (36 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 415 houses and a population of 2682 of which 1351 are males while 1331 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 2678 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
