Akulkhede is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 68 kilometres (42 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 1192 houses and a population of 4743 of which 2413 are males while 2330 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 508 people are from Schedule Caste and 543 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
