Ajang is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 618 houses and a population of 3151 of which 1649 are males while 1502 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 130 people are from Schedule Caste and 637 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
