The AIFF Futsal Club Championship is the current annual futsal club competition of India hosted by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).[1]

2021 will be the inaugural edition of the championship, which is expected to be organised in Shillong by Meghalaya Football Association.[2][3]

History and format[edit]

On 10 December 2019, the AIFF Executive Committee decided that Futsal club completion will be a part of the AIFF competition calendar from 2020 season onwards.[1] The AIFF invited the clubs playing Indian Super League, I-League and I-League 2nd Division to participate in the inaugural season. The teams will be consisted of senior, reserve and under 18 players of the respective clubs.[2][4] The inaugural championship was originally planned to be held in July–August but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed until 2021.[4]
