2020–21 I-League 2nd Division
The 2020–21 2nd Division League or Hero 2020–21 2nd Division League for sponsorship reasons) is the 14th season of the I-League 2nd Division, the second division Indian football league, since its establishment in 2008.[1]

A total of 18 teams who were the champions of their respective State leagues are set to compete in the tournament along with the reserve sides of Indian Super League clubs.
Four clubs from Jammu and Kashmir who applied for the nomination are set to play a competition, with the top two sides getting nominated to the Second Division League.[2]
A day after JKFA confirmed the four teams that have applied for the Second Division League, Downtown Heroes FC came forward to apply for the competition.[3]
