Kalambu is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 30 kilometres (19 mi) from sub district headquarter and 90 kilometres (56 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 713 houses and a population of 3216 of which 1614 are males while 1602 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 67 people are from Schedule Caste and 1279 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
