Kukaval is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from sub district headquarter and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 418 houses and a population of 1923 of which 1000 are males while 923 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 40 people are from Schedule Caste and 915 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
