R.V.S College of Engineering and Technology (or RVSCET) is an engineering institution which is situated in Karaikal which is a major port city of east coast of India and a municipality in Karaikal district in the Union Territory of Puducherry, India.

The college is managed by the Rathinavel Subramaniam Educational Trust (RVSET). The college was started in 2008. The college is affiliated to the Pondicherry University for academic purposes. The institute offers five Undergraduate programmes in the disciplines of engineering and technology.

Location[edit]

The college campus is situated at Kalikuppam which is about 7 km from the railway station and bus-stand in Karaikal town. It is about 100 km south of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The campus is also connected by town bus from Karaikal.

The temperatures during the year vary between 25 C to 38 C, but it is always less harsh than other coastal cities.
