Kandwel is a village in Raver in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 392 houses and a population of 1891 of which 1004 are males while 887 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 244 people are from Schedule Caste and 1 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
