Jainagar is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 419 houses and a population of 2142 of which 1089 are males while 1053 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 296 people are from Schedule Caste and 701 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
