Anarad is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from sub district headquarter and 44 kilometres (27 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 470 houses and a population of 2344 of which 1222 are males while 1122 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 119 people are from Schedule Caste and 636 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
