Prakasha
Prakasha is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 40 kilometres (25 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 2100 houses and a population of 10133 of which 5153 are males while 4980 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 981 people are from Schedule Caste and 3408 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
