Welavad is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 35 kilometres (22 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 132 houses and a population of 729 of which 373 are males while 356 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 380 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
