Kankala is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from sub district headquarter and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 379 houses and the population of 1604 of which 808 are males while 796 are females.[1]
