Ambapur is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 597 houses and a population of 3303 of which 1651 are males while 1652 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 42 people are from Schedule Caste and 3041 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
