Sofia Chaudry is a Dutch-Pakistani singer and songwriter based in Amsterdam,[1] the Netherlands.[2]
Sofia was born and raised on 27 october 1991 in Karachi, Pakistan to father Iqbal Chaudry and mother Selina Chaudry in a Punjabi Christian household. Her father was an immigrant[3] in The Netherlands and lived in Amsterdam since 1973. She is raised here. She began singing at the age of 5 and became obsessed with music.[4] Unfortunately her mother did not allowed her to follow a musical education. So she started studying International Business and Management[5] at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. She dropped out in 2012 to continue her singing career.[6]
