Voting were held on 25th May 2024 in 3rd phase of Odisha Assembly Election & 6th phase of Indian General Election. Counting of votes was on 4th June 2024.[10] In 2024 election, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Om Prakash Mishra defeated Biju Janata Dal candidate Sanjaya Kumar Dash Barma by a margin of 17,708 votes.[7]
