| He was born in Salem in 1944. He joined in DMK in 1961 headed by [[Annadurai C N]]. He is very close to [[Chitti Babu (Tamil actor)|Chitti Babu]]. He words hard for DMK in election times, because of this DMK president [[M. Karunanidhi|Karunanidhi]] appreciated him. He also participated in many protests by DMK and went jail many times.
