Hanumanthanpatti is a town panchayat located in Uthamapalayam taluk, Theni district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.it was one of the village of the ancient "Mallakottai Nadu"once,which was a part of "sivagangai seemai".

As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Hanumanthampatti had a population of 9436. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Hanumanthampatti has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 73%, and female literacy is 54%. In Hanumanthampatti, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
